If you have a custom application, database or Web site, and you'd like to add instant and dynamic Internet-based faxing, you can easily hook into one of our two API systems. Method One: SMTP Email You will need to be able to send a standard SMTP email (with attachments, if necessary) automatically. You can follow the instructions in our help section on "Sending faxes from your email program", assuming that you're automating a lot of the process. Or, download the following Email API specification for special keys you can put into the email body and subject to access advanced Email API functionality: ClickFax Email API (PDF) Method Two: Secure HTTP You can also post a form (or do a standard HTTP GET) to a special page on our API site.
